Sườn dê đem chặt thành nhiều miếng nhỏ rồi luộc sơ qua 1 lần, vớt ra rửa sạch. Đổ đường phèn vào nồi hầm, đun đến khi tan chảy thì thêm nguyệt quế, cam thảo, gừng, hành và sườn vào.
Thêm nước tương, nước mắm vào nồi sườn hầm, đảo đều. Đổ 2 bát nước vào nồi hầm sườn và đậy vung ninh một lúc. Củ cải nạo vỏ, rửa sạch rồi thái miếng như trong hình.
Hầm sườn khoảng 20 phút thì mở vung, bỏ củ cải và muối vào, đảo đều. Hầm lửa nhỏ đến khi củ cải chín mềm thì bắt bếp.
Múc sườn hầm củ cải vào bát. Ăn kèm với cơm nóng. Còn chần chừ gì mà chưa thực hiện món ngon này mời cả nhà vào bữa cơm tối nào!
